Assam Public Service Commission invites application of AAO post under the (AEGCL) department.
(1) Name ofthe Post :- Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO) (Class.lll post) of Assam Electricity grid Corporation Limited (AEGCL).
(2) No of posts :. 61 (Sixty- one)
3. Eligibility Criteria :-
*The candidate must be an lndian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to B of the Constitution of lndia and must be a permanent resident of Assam and should have profiency in Assamese/Local language.
*As a domicile proof of the candidate, he/she must upload a copy of the valid Permanent Resident
*Certificate issued in Assam for educational purpose/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate will be
treated as proof of residency.
4. Education Qualification : i. Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent in B,Com in aggregate or 55% marks in Honors/Major subject (B,Com) or minimum 55%
aggregate marks or its equivalent for Arts or Science graduate having Mathematics or Statistics as one of the
sublect or 55% marks or its equivalent in lVlathematicsiStatistics as Honors (BA/B.Sc).
ii. For departmental candidates and those belonging to the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe
minimum qualification marks in a bachelor degree is 50%.
iii. Possess proficiency in computer application and having diploma certificate in computer
application with minimum duration of 3 (three) months.

5. Age:
The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 0110112024.
The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/IMOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25rh April 2018.
(iii) For Ex-Servicemen, the maximum age shall be 50 (Fifty) years as on 0110112024 for Unreserved category, relaxable further by 3 (Three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5 (Five) years for SC/ST candidates as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 48/2009/84 Dated 19th December, 2022.
(iv) Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR Category of candidates as per Govt. Memorandum No, ABP 180i2017/105 dated Dispur the 7th Janu ary,2019.
The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Class.X/Class.Xll Examination Admit Card/Pass Cedificate/Marksheet issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council where Age/Date of Birth (DOB) is clearly reflected.

Under the Digital lndia initiative by lt4inistry of Electronics and lnformation Technology (MeitY), Government of lndra, APSC has decided to launch its Online Recruitment poftal with the help o, CSC-SPV, a IVIeitY approved organization, which will charge a processing fee of Rs. 40.001 + 18% tax = Rs.47.201 from each candidate.
